As part of the Human-AI Collaboration Praxisprojekt at the Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg, our team developed Octelligence, an AI-enhanced Knowledge Management System (KMS) designed to revolutionize how organizations store, retrieve, and utilize knowledge. This project was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Milad Mirbabaie at the Chair of Information Systems, esp. AI Engineering in Companies.
Many organizations suffer from knowledge fragmentation, where valuable expertise is either lost with departing employees or buried in inaccessible documents. Traditional knowledge management systems fail to capture implicit knowledge — the real-world experience and best practices of employees. Furthermore, existing solutions often rely on static databases, making information retrieval inefficient and contextually limited.

This seminar paper, co-authored and submitted to the Chair of Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour at Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg, explores gender diversity in leadership positions. Supervised by Prof. Dr. Maike Andresen, it analyzes legal, ethical, and economic perspectives on the underrepresentation of women in executive roles and provides recommendations for policy and business strategy.

Hi, I'm Matthias, a passionate technology enthusiast, student, researcher, and Game Master. I specialize in management, Humans & AI and cloud computing. I currently study at Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg.
My academic background is in law and International Information Systems Management & Business Informatics, where I focus on bridging AI-driven automation with human decision-making. I have worked on AI-based knowledge systems, cloud infrastructure, and data-driven solutions, particularly in the field of knowledge management, which led to the creation of Octelligence.
Outside of research and technology, I'm an active Freelance Game Master on StartPlaying and Discord. I run Dungeons & Donkeys, a diverse little online TTRPG community.
